Spring 2007 Steward Liason Update 

Thelma from Brittania Lodge will be getting to me to let me know whether she received the correct level of pay and the retro due to her.

Susie and J will be meeting with staff at Bleinham Lodge on Thursday April 5th to talk about their issues on workload and talk about PRFs.

Dilshad is out of town from April 13th until May 2nd.

There will be a Long Term Care Steward Planning day on May 28th or May 31st. 

On May 21st there will be a Long Term Care nurses day for Shaughnessy Heights at the Italian Cultural Centre, Trattona Room.

The role of the steward liason a connection between the regional executive group and the stewards in the region.  The liason is also responsible for the yearly steward elections and ongoing education of stewards.  She assists the chair of the region in representation of members in facilites where there is no steward.
